Eid Al-Fitr x Street Style

Today me and my friends celebrated Eid Al-Fitr ( a celebration that comes after Ramadan for Muslims in which we pray eat and enjoy festivities.) I decided to blog about their outfits because I loved them so much. Simple and very Cute! As you know I value simplicity so much when it comes to choosing and putting together outfits. I also like to feature people I find "on the street" who have great style in my opinion. Below are their details and their Instagram names.

London Zhiloh Wearing London Zhiloh

Print Model,Actor, and Poet amongst many other things London Zhiloh posted to her twitter account pictures of herself rocking an oversized tee featuring herself. I've been seeing this trend a lot lately. People wearing them, literally but in this case it was different. Fans went into a serious uproar flooding London's mentions dying to know where they could purchase the tee for themselves. We are all still unclear of their release dates or if there is one but if she does choose to release them atleast we can agree on the fact that they'll be a hit! 

Kanye West for GQ Magazine. August:2014

Kanye West in a few shots in the August issue of GQ magazine. He kept it super simple in a white V-Neck shirt, thin gold, chain and his staple beige coat.Simplicity is the key and I love when things are kept simple so this shoot was definitely one of my favorites and I'm looking forward purchasing this issue next month. 

"Queen B"

Some refer to her as the "Queen" I just call her Beyoncé. I decided to blog about Beyonce's recent post on Instagram because I'm loving the prints! I'm very big on mixing and matching prints. If you've read my older post you can see how I always dish out information or tips that can help you mix and match perfectly. I never go as bright for myself but I'm really loving it on her. She looks amazing! Slay On! 

The Shades From Tumblr

 I came across these shades online that really caught my eye and I posted them unto my tumblr account. A couple minutes later a lot of you were asking me where you could purchase glasses like these and I did some digging for you guys! These glasses are not my mine. Just a picture I found and uploaded so I had to use my resources and find out where I could purchase the exact pairs of glasses or even ones that look similar. DKNY Ramadan Collection

I recently discovered that DKNY( Donna Karan New York) was doing this Ramadan Collection and it immediately caught my attention because you never really see main stream fashion companies acknowledging different religions or cultures in such a major way. I looked through that slide show that was posted unto my tumblr and on DKNY's website and the pieces was really nice. I actually liked them but, most of the looks weren't really something you could wear and be fully covered during Ramadan or As being a Muslim women period. Maybe if you add some and take away some here and there you'll get the full Modest look. Nonetheless I loved the two full length maxi-dresses and the black and white printed skirt. 

Runway vs Street

Loving Kylie Jenner's look here. She's wearing a Barbara Bui Spring 2014 Ready-To-Wear Dress as well as Gianvito Rossi Sandals. It's not often I think certain looks better off the runway but I love this as well as Kylie's style in general.

Covergirl Gone COVEREDGIRL

Here are some of my favorite shots of Rihanna's spread in Harpers Bazaar Arabia. She looks so elegant and modest. I love when modesty is shown in high fashion because it's just a different way of showing people that you can dress appropriate and obtain that elegant look without being boring and normal. I loved the title of the spread as well. "Rihanna for Arabia: The new modesty, cover up in style." She should definately mix the modest look in her everyday style sometimes.Either way I love!
